The mortgage credit certificate program (MCC) allows for significant tax credits that will effectively increase your take home pay. Secondly, the House Key state bond program gives 1st time buyers reduced interest rates. There are varying requirements for these programs but unlike the past you do not have to have a low salary to qualify.
